Yangtse Longchen Dzogchen Teachings with Ponlob Tsangpa Rinpoche
We warmly invite you to a special Dzogchen teaching retreat with Ponlob Tsangpa Rinpoche, one of the most important teachers of the Yungdrung Bön tradition and the principal teacher of Triten Norbutse Monastery in Kathmandu.
The teachings will take place from 5 to 7 June 2026 at Cziamma Ling Center in Wilga, Poland, and will also be available online via Zoom.
About Dzogchen
Dzogchen, or “the Great Perfection,” is regarded as one of the highest teachings and practices of Tibetan Buddhism and the Yungdrung Bön tradition. Its essential view is that reality, including the individual, is already complete and perfect. Nothing needs to be artificially transformed, as in tantra, or renounced, as in sutra. What is needed is to directly recognize reality as it truly is.
The essential practice of Dzogchen is self-liberation: allowing everything that arises in experience to be just as it is, without elaboration by the conceptual mind, without grasping, rejection or aversion.
These teachings help us distinguish between the ordinary conceptual mind, known as sem, and the nature of mind, known as semnyi, also called the natural state of mind, or nelug.
Through the practice of Dzogchen, negative emotions and suffering can be liberated, revealing the natural perfection, openness and joy that are our true nature.
About Yangtse Longchen
Yangtse Longchen is one of the main Dzogchen cycles in the Yungdrung Bön tradition. The text was written by the great master Lishu Tagring, based on the earlier text Dragpa Korsum.
According to the tradition, Lishu Tagring concealed these teachings in the 8th century. They were later rediscovered in 1180 by the tertön Zhötön Ngödrup Dragpa inside the temple of Lhodrag Khomting in southern Tibet.
