Podążanie Ścieżką Tradycji Yungdrung Bön dla zachodnich uczniów może mieć różne znaczenia. Jako praktykujący tej Tradycji słuchamy Nauk z pełną uwagą, następnie nad nimi rozmyślamy, a następnie wprowadzamy je w praktykę by osiągnąć ich pełne zrozumienie. Na Zachodzie otrzymaliśmy wiele bardzo cennych nauk, lecz może też istnieć tendencja do przechowywania ich jedynie w naszej intelektualnej bibliotece bez przechodzenia przez pozostałe dwa fundamentalne kroki. W rezultacie nasze zrozumienie pozostaje niepełne.

Krocząc Ścieżką, musimy poznać Mapę by móc rozpoznać terytorium. Ten kurs przeznaczony jest dla wszystkich praktykujących bez względu na poziom zaawansowania, ponieważ mapa jest ta sama, choć jej interpretacja będzie zależna od naszego doświadczenia duchowego. Ta Tradycja jest Oceanem Mądrości, a gdy podążamy Ścieżką, uczymy się, że ten Ocean ma coraz większą głębię. Dla doświadczonych praktykujących ten kurs będzie przydatny by móc zrozumieć więcej z tego, co wcześniej słyszeliśmy w Naukach i co będziemy jeszcze słyszeć wielokrotnie, a dla początkujących jest to dobre wprowadzenie do zakresu fundamentalnych pojęć, które każdy praktykujący Bön musi znać.

O Nauczycielce:

Ani Sherab Wangmo jest mniszką z tybetańskiej tradycji Yungdrung Bön, autoryzowaną instruktorką linii i praktykującą od 29 lat. Jej imię oznacza „mniszka inicjowana w mądrości”, a swoje śluby Getsukma otrzymała od Jego Świątobliwości Lungtoka Tenpaia Nyimy, opata klasztoru Menri w Indiach w 2007 roku.

Przed rozpoczęciem praktyki w tradycji Yungdrung Bön (w 1995 roku), przez pięć lat (1987-1992) podążała za zrealizowanym mistrzem wedyjskim Swamim Chinmayanandą, aż do jego śmierci. W 1989 roku przebywała przez sześć miesięcy w aśramie w Himalajach, aby odbyć medytacyjny odosobnienie i uczyć się sanskrytu. Przeszła także kilka sześciomiesięcznych odosobnień w Triten Norbutse w Nepalu i klasztorze Menri w Indiach.

Jego Eminencja Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpocze jest jej Rdzennym Lamą od 1999 roku i od tego czasu podąża za jego naukami. Otrzymała również nauki od Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrunga Rinpocze, Lamy Tenzina Wangyala Rinpocze, Khenpo Geleka Jimpy, Geshe Chapura i innych Geshe. W 2005 roku odbyła miesięczną pielgrzymkę do świętych miejsc Zhang Zhung, głównie nad jezioro Dangra Yumtso, Namtso, do klasztorów Triten Norbutse i Yungdrung Ling. Jednym z najważniejszych rezultatów tej pielgrzymki było przyniesienie relikwii i świętych darów z tych miejsc, darów od pustelników oraz relikwii z klasztoru Triten Norbutse w Tybecie, które były umieszczone w sercach pięciu różnych stup: dwóch w Dolpo, jednej w Torreón w Meksyku, jednej w Valle de Bravo w Meksyku i ostatniej w Shenten Dargye Ling we Francji.

Obecnie mieszka w La Paz w Meksyku, tłumaczy na hiszpański wiele nauk online i koordynuje tam sanghę.

Walking the Path of the Yungdrung Bön Tradition for Western students has different meanings for each one of us. As practitioners of this Tradition, we listen to a Teaching with undivided attention, then reflect on it, and, to be able to reach its meaning, we practice it. In the West we have had many very precious teachings, but there is a tendency to store them in our intellectual library without going through the other two fundamental steps; then, the information remains fragmented.

To be able to walk the Path, there is a map and we need to know the map to recognize the territory. This course is for all practitioners at all levels because the map is the same, although its interpretation will be according to spiritual experience. As you well know, this Tradition is an Ocean of Wisdom, and as we walk the Path, we learn that there is more and more depth to this Ocean. Therefore, this course is useful to be able to associate more of what we have heard before in the Teachings and will be hearing over and over again; for beginners, it is a good introduction to the scope of fundamental concepts a practitioner of Bön has to have. There are many maps; this is only one of them.

About the teacher:

Ani Sherab Wangmo is a nun from the Yungdrung Bön Tibetan Tradition, authorized instructor for the Lineage and practitioner for 29 years. Her name means “the nun initiated in Wisdom” and her Getsukma vows were granted by His Holiness Lungtok Tenpai Nyima, Abbot of the Menri monastery in India in 2007.

Before encountering the Yungdrung Bön Tradition of Tibet (in 1995), she followed a realized Vedantic master called Swami Chinmayananda for five years (1987-1992) till he passed away. She stayed six months in an ashram in the Himalayas to do meditation retreat and learn Sanskrit in 1989. She has also had several 6-month retreats in Triten Norbutse, Nepal, and Menri Monastery in India.

His Eminence Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche is her Root Lama since 1999 and she has followed His teachings since. She has also received teachings from Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche, Lama Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, Khenpo Gelek Jimpa, Geshe Chapur and other Geshes. In 2005 she went on a one-month pilgrimage to sacred Zhang Zhung sites mainly in lake Dangra Yumtso, Namtso, Triten Norbutse and Yungdrung Ling Monasteries. One of the most important results of this pilgrimage was that she brought back relics and sacred offerings of the sacred sites, donations of Bonpo hermits, and relics from Triten Norbutse monastery in Tibet to be placed in the hearts of five different stupas: two in Dolpo, one in Torreón, Mexico, one in Valle de Bravo, Mexico and the last one in Shenten Darkye Ling in France.

Currently she lives in La Paz, Mexico, translates into Spanish many of the online teachings and coordinates one sangha there.
